BunnyBox Plus assembly video
The Plus has a divider and three doors. The video shows you exactly in which order they go in.
BunnyBox Plus
The BunnyBox Plus comes as a self-assembly kit. The column is put together in 30 to 60 minutes, not counting anchoring. Watch the assembly video first, keep the PDF beside you and then work through the fifteen steps.

In a few minutes, the video shows what the instructions describe in fifteen steps. Especially with the divider, the three doors and the flap assembly, watching is quicker than reading.
The Plus has a divider and three doors. The video shows you exactly in which order they go in.
The same numbering as in the PDF, so you can use the two side by side. Read through all the steps once before you start.
Lay the back panel (3) flat, with the edge with screw holes towards you: that is the bottom. Stand the left side panel (1) upright against the left edge. Note: the guides on the inside face upwards and inwards. Fix it with 3 screws A.
Work on a blanket so the coating doesn't get scratched. Using a cordless screwdriver? Set a low torque, as overtightening damages the screw holes.
Repeat on the right with side panel (2) and 3 screws A. Here too, the guides on the inside face upwards and inwards.
Holes don't line up? Then the panel is the wrong way round.
Leave the body lying on its back. Slide the front frame (4) in from the bottom between the side panels until it sits against the top edge.
Keep the panels tight together: there must be no gap.
Fit the bottom panel (6) at the bottom, into the clips of the side panels. Stand the body upright and screw the bottom in from the inside with 4 screws A at the corners.
Place the top panel (5) with the thick, double-folded edge at the front. Press it flat and screw it to the side panels from the inside with 4 screws A.
Slide the divider (9) in from the front into the top compartment, onto the edge above the parcel opening, and press it down. Fix it at the back with 1 screw A into the back panel.
Insert the pins of the letter flap (7) into the holes on the inside of the letter door (8), behind the letter slot.
The flap must swing freely inwards.
Fit a lock in the letter door (8) and one in the parcel retrieval door (11). Push the lock through the hole from the outside. On the inside, tighten the large nut. Fit the cam on the square end, bent end facing away from the door, and tighten the small nut.
Turn the key to locked: the cam must hook behind the frame.
Slide a plastic washer E onto a door pin F and insert the pin into the hole in the frame edge below the letter compartment. Place the letter door (8) on the pin with the hole in its underside. Push in the spring pin on top of the door, line the door up against the frame and let the pin slide into the hole in the frame.
Doors already fitted? Go to step 11.
Do the same with the parcel retrieval door (11): slide the second washer E onto the second door pin F, insert the pin into the hole in the bottom edge of the frame and place the door on top. Push in the spring pin and let it slide into the hole at the top.
Bend both wings of the flap wings (13) until they are at a right angle (90°), as shown in the drawing. Bend them both by the same amount.
Lay the parcel entry door (10) face down on the blanket. Place the flap wings (13) on it as shown. Push the tabs of (10) through the slots in (13) and fold them flat so everything is held firmly.
Connect the inner panel (12) to the wings of (13) with the 2 connecting bars (14). At the holes in the wings: bolt B with nut D, bolt head on the inside. At the inner panel: bolt C with nut D, bolt head on the outside.
Don't overtighten: the bars must be able to pivot.
Place the flap assembly in the middle compartment. First insert pins a and b of the inner panel (12) into the holes of the brackets at the back, then pins c and d of the parcel entry door (10) into the holes at the sides.
Place the box on a flat, solid floor (concrete, or tiles on concrete) and check it with a spirit level. Drill through the 4 holes in the bottom: Ø 12 mm, about 100 mm deep, and vacuum up the dust. Insert the 4 expansion bolts G and tap them in with a hammer until the washer rests on the bottom. Tighten the nuts firmly with a 13 mm spanner.
Always anchor the box: unanchored, it can tip over or be taken away. Watch out for pipes and cables when drilling.
The Plus is the only model with separate compartments. Letters go through the letter flap into the top compartment, parcels through the parcel entry door into the middle compartment. You take them out through the parcel retrieval door. The divider from step 6 makes that difference.
Leave the body lying on its back and slide the front frame (4) in from the bottom between the side panels until it sits against the top edge. Keep the side panels tight against the back panel: if they spread apart, the frame jams. See step 3.
Check that the divider (9) is pressed down properly and that the front frame is pushed all the way in. Also check that the spring pin sits in the hole at the top of the frame (steps 9 and 10). Then loosen the frame screws by a quarter turn, straighten the door and tighten them again.
The fixings include 4 expansion bolts (G). Use them to anchor the box into a concrete floor or into tiles on concrete: drill 4 holes of Ø 12 mm and about 100 mm deep, see step 15. On a soft surface, use a ground anchor or a concrete paving slab under the base.
That shouldn't happen: with the Plus, all screws, bolts and washers are used. If you have anything left over, go back through the steps and check that every panel is secured at all points. If something is missing instead, get in touch with us.
You can, but it is easier with 2 people. Especially when standing the box upright and fitting the flap assembly, a second pair of hands is handy.
