BunnyBox Style assembly video

BunnyBox Style
The BunnyBox Style comes as a self-assembly kit. The column is put together in 30 to 60 minutes, not counting anchoring. Watch the assembly video first, keep the PDF beside you and then work through the twelve steps.

In a few minutes, the video shows what the instructions describe in twelve steps. Especially with the inner panel and the parcel entry door, watching is quicker than reading.
The video shows the wood-effect front and the parcel entry door with its connecting bars clearly in one go. Watch it all the way through first.
The same numbering as in the PDF, so you can use the two side by side. Read through all the steps once before you start.
Lay the back panel (3) flat, with the edge with screw holes towards you: that is the bottom. Stand the left side panel (1) upright against the left edge. Note: the guides on the inside face upwards and inwards. Fix it with 3 screws A.
Work on a blanket so the coating doesn't get scratched. Using a cordless screwdriver? Set a low torque, as overtightening damages the screw holes.
Repeat on the right with side panel (2) and 3 screws A. Here too, the guides on the inside face upwards and inwards.
Holes don't line up? Then the panel is the wrong way round.
Stand the body upright. Place the front frame (4) against the front: the lugs of the frame drop into the holes in the side panels. Screw the frame on at both sides with 1 screw A each.
Slide the letter panel (9) down into the top opening of the front frame from above, wooden side facing forward. The top panel will hold it in place.
Place the top panel (5) with the thick, double-folded edge at the front, above the letter panel. Press it flat and screw it to the side panels from the inside with 2 screws A.
Carefully tilt the box onto its back, on the blanket. Press the bottom panel (6) into the clips so that it sits firmly. Fix it from the inside with 1 screw A into the back panel.
A second pair of hands is handy here.
Bend both wings of the inner panel (10) down until they are at a right angle (90°) to the panel. Bend them both by the same amount.
Stand the body upright and slide the inner panel (10) into the upper compartment: the wings along the side panels, the panel sloping down towards the back. Fix it at both sides with 1 screw A through the side panel into the hole in the wing.
Not too tight: the panel must be able to pivot on these screws.
Hang the parcel entry door (8) by the pins on its underside in the holes of the front frame. Connect the sides of the door to the wings of (10) with the 2 connecting bars (11): at the door bolt C with nut D, at the wing bolt B with nut D. Fit the bolts so the heads face the inside of the box.
Don't overtighten: the bars must be able to pivot.
Push the lock (12) from the outside through the hole in the parcel retrieval door (7). Tighten the large nut on the inside. Fit the locking hook onto the square end, with the bent end pointing away from the door, and tighten the small nut.
Turn the key to locked: the cam must hook behind the frame.
Slide a plastic washer E over the door pin F and insert the pin into the hole in the bottom edge of the frame. Place the parcel retrieval door (7) on the pin with the hole in its underside. Slide the second washer E over the pin on top of the door, push the door against the frame and insert the pin into the hole in the frame.
Is the door already fitted? Then go straight to step 12.
Place the box on a flat, solid floor (concrete, or tiles on concrete) and check it with a spirit level. Drill through the 4 holes in the bottom: Ø 12 mm, about 100 mm deep, and vacuum up the dust. Insert the 4 expansion bolts G and tap them in with a hammer until the washer rests on the bottom. Tighten the nuts firmly with a 13 mm spanner.
Always anchor the box: unanchored, it can tip over or be taken away. Watch out for pipes and cables when drilling.
The Style has a separate letter slot, but letters and parcels end up in the same compartment. If you want separate compartments, the BunnyBox Plus is the model you're looking for.
Tip the box onto its back on the blanket so there's no weight on the bottom panel, and press it straight into the clips of the side panels. Forcing it damages the edge. See step 6.
The fixings include 4 expansion bolts (G). Use them to anchor the box into a concrete floor or into tiles on concrete: drill 4 holes of Ø 12 mm and about 100 mm deep, see step 12. On a soft surface, use a ground anchor or a concrete paving slab under the base.
Water and mild soap are all you need. Don't use abrasives or harsh cleaners, as they attack the coating. Spray the hinges and lock with silicone spray once a year.
That's right: you'll have 1 screw A and 1 plastic washer E left over. These are spares. If you have more left over, go back through the steps and check that every panel is secured at all points.
You can, but it is easier with 2 people. Especially when tipping the box for the bottom panel and fitting the inner panel, a second pair of hands is handy.
