What the Plus is designed for
The Plus is the largest of the four. Parcels up to 45 x 32 x 21 cm fit inside, compared with 37 cm wide for the Home. For addresses where something is delivered almost every day.
The only series with two separate compartments: post at the top, parcels below. Your letters don't end up under a box and you don't have to dig through the cardboard.
Garden products, electronics and wide clothing boxes. Exactly the size you would normally drive to a parcel point for.
Less suitable: If you only have a narrow strip next to the door, the Plus at 50 cm is too wide. Take a look at the 38 cm Style or the wall-mounted Compact instead.
Good to know
A parcel letterbox is almost always bought too small. People look at the little parcel that arrived yesterday, not at last month's box that would not have fitted. That is why the Plus exists.
It is 50 cm wide, accepts parcels up to 45 x 32 x 21 cm and keeps letters in their own compartment. Of the four series, this is the only one with that separation.
The question is not how many parcels you receive a year, but how wide the boxes are. An average week with three small parcels is handled perfectly well by the Home. As soon as a box 40 or 45 cm wide regularly turns up, that box ends up outside with a smaller model.
The Plus accepts parcels up to 45 x 32 x 21 cm. That covers almost everything a webshop sends as a standard size, including the wider clothing boxes and most electronics.
With the Home, the Style and the Compact, post and parcels go into the same space. Not with the Plus: this is the only series with two separate compartments, post at the top and parcels below. So your letters stay easy to find, even when there is a large box in the letterbox.
In practice this makes the biggest difference when you don't empty the box every day, for example over a long weekend. Everything that arrives during those days stays organised.
The Plus is 50 cm wide, 37 cm deep and 112 cm high. That is considerably more than the 38 cm wide Style, so measure the spot next to your door before you order. Also allow room to open the door of the box fully.
Place it on a flat, hard surface within ten metres of the public road. The Dutch guidelines for letterboxes assume a slot height between 60 and 180 cm, with 110 cm as the ideal. When installing, check exactly what height the opening ends up at in your case.
Like the other series, the Plus is made from 0.7 mm galvanised steel sheet with Qualicoat Class 2 powder coating with zinc phosphate pretreatment to protect against rain and street dirt. It locks with a key lock and comes with two keys.
The Plus comes as a 20 kg self-assembly kit. It is the heaviest model in the range, so assemble it where it is going to stand or ask someone to help you lift it.
