What the Home is designed for

  1. 01

    The typical terraced house

A garden path, a front door and a few parcels every week. That is what the Home is made for. It is freestanding, so you place it exactly where the delivery driver already walks.

  2. 02

The size that arrives most often

Parcels up to 37 x 32 x 21 cm fit inside. That is the size that clothing boxes, books, shoes and most electronics come in.

  3. 03

    Four colours, one price

Black, white, grey and black with dark teak all cost the same. So you choose what suits your facade, not your budget.

Good to know

A freestanding parcel letterbox for everyday parcels

In 2025 more than 615 million parcels were delivered in the Netherlands, and 82 percent of them go to a home address. That works fine as long as someone is home. If not, the parcel goes to the neighbours, back to the depot, or it is left unprotected at the door. Research by EenVandaag among more than 24,000 panel members in the Netherlands found that four in ten people had seen a delivery driver leave a parcel without ringing the bell.

The BunnyBox Home solves this in the simplest way: a lockable box that stands freely next to your front door, big enough for the parcel size delivered most often.

Why freestanding and not built into the wall

A built-in model is neatly tucked away, but it requires an opening in the wall or a hole in the gate. That is not a job you do on a Saturday afternoon. The Home stands on its own: you place it where the delivery driver already passes, usually right next to the front door or at the start of the garden path. Not happy with the spot? Just move it.

Do keep the Dutch guidelines for letterboxes in mind. A letterbox must be within ten metres of the public road and at a height between 60 and 180 cm, with 110 cm as the ideal height for the slot. If the box is further away, a delivery driver is not obliged to put post in it.

Which parcels fit inside

The Home accepts parcels up to 37 x 32 x 21 cm. Clothing boxes, books, shoes and most electronics fit comfortably within that. What doesn't fit is the kind of thing you order a monitor or a garden hose for. For that, the BunnyBox Plus at 45 x 32 x 21 cm is the better choice.

Not sure about the size? Measure the boxes from your last three orders. That tells you more about your situation than an average. The size you need depends on what you order, not on the size of your house.

Material, lock and installation

All BunnyBox models are made from 0.7 mm galvanised steel sheet with Qualicoat Class 2 powder coating with zinc phosphate pretreatment, so rain and street dirt have little grip on it. The Home locks with a key lock and comes with two keys.

The Home comes as a 16 kg self-assembly kit. If you want a model that arrives pre-assembled, the Compact is the only series supplied that way.

Which colour suits which facade

Black works with dark window frames, anthracite grey joinery and warm-toned brick. White suits a light facade and white frames, but shows dirt more quickly. Grey is the least conspicuous and therefore the safest choice if you are unsure.

The black with dark teak combination is for anyone who likes the wood accent of the Style series but wants to stay at the price of the Home.

Frequently asked questions about the Home

Can a delivery driver put a parcel in the BunnyBox Home?

Delivery drivers may leave a parcel in a lockable parcel letterbox if the parcel fits and the box is by the door. Whether they actually do depends on the delivery driver and on the delivery instructions you give with your order.

How big can my parcel be?

Up to 37 x 32 x 21 cm, that is width x depth x height. If your usual box doesn't fit, take a look at the Plus, which goes up to 45 cm wide.

Do I need to assemble the Home myself?

Yes, the Home comes as a self-assembly kit. Only the Compact is supplied pre-assembled.

How much does the BunnyBox Home cost?

€99.95, the same price in all four colours.

Where is the best place to put it?

On a flat, hard surface within ten metres of the public road, on the route the delivery driver already takes. Don't place it behind a closed gate or fence, because then the delivery driver can't reach it.
